Mix Named Area Elementary Health Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to French Road Elementary School’s Janice Mix on being named the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (NYS AHPERD) 2025 Central Western Zone Elementary Health Teacher of the Year.

The award recognizes her dedication and passion for teaching elementary health education. Ms. Mix was nominated by her colleagues. The Central Western Zone is made up of Allegany, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne, Wyoming, and Yates counties.
