French Road Elementary School students helped dogs and cats at Lollypop Farm get adopted while also developing their persuasive writing skills in December.
Jessica Dachille’s fourth graders learned about the millions of animals that sit in shelters. The class wanted to make a difference and convince people to adopt animals in our area.
Students wrote posters of why the available animals at Lollypop Farm would make great pets to adopt. They also drew pictures of the pets. The posters are on display next to the animals at Lollypop’s adoption center.
Lollypop Farm shared that a couple of the pets went home the very same day they hung up these posters. Coincidence? We think not!
