Brighton Central School District’s annual Festival of Ideas was a hit with students in March. Over 600 students in grades 3 through 8 came to Brighton High School to participate in the educational fun day. It was the 35th year of Festival of Ideas!
This year's mind-boggling array of topics includes returning favorites such as Chocolate Explosion, Fencing, Cupcake Decorating, Circus Arts, Mini Gem Tree, Pretzel Making, Scuba Diving, and Your Day in Court. For 2025, the lineup included exciting new entries such as Rock 101, Build Your Own Space Rover, Felt Succulents, and Hands-On Robotics. Each student participated in three workshops, each lasting 50 minutes.
Thank you to the workshop presenters and the adult and student volunteers who helped make the event a success.
Festival of Ideas is quite simply the quintessential school-community event!
