Dear Brighton Family,

What a fantastic start to the 2025-26 school year! From the excitement of the first day to the energy at curriculum nights, open houses, and fall athletic events, it has been a joy to see our community come together once again. Homecoming was a true celebration of Brighton spirit, reminding us how special it is to learn, work, and grow in a community that values both tradition and innovation.

Our students have returned ready to learn, our families continue to show unwavering support, and our staff have gone above and beyond to ensure a smooth and successful opening. Thank you to everyone for making this start such a positive one. The partnership among students, families, staff, and the wider Brighton community is the foundation of everything we do.

As we look ahead, our work is guided by our Blueprint for Excellence, which focuses on four priority areas:

  • Mental Health, Wellness, and Student Support — caring for the whole child by providing resources, guidance, and safe spaces to ensure every student can thrive.
  • Academic Excellence — continuing to challenge and support students at the highest levels, preparing them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in an ever-changing world.
  • The Family and Student Experience — building a school culture where every child and every family feels welcomed, valued, and heard, ensuring connections that strengthen our entire community.
  • Operations — maintaining and improving our facilities, resources, and systems so that our schools run effectively and efficiently, supporting both present needs and long-term goals.
You will see these priorities come to life each day in classrooms, on the field and stage, and throughout our buildings. They are also reflected in the capital improvements taking place across the District — modernized learning environments, upgraded facilities, and projects designed to raise the standard of our schools for generations to come. We appreciate your patience as this important work continues and are excited about what these improvements will mean for our students.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. With such an amazing start, I am confident that this year will be filled with growth, achievement, and pride for all of us in Brighton.

Go Bruins!
