FRES Elects “Pie in the Face” for Principals
On Election Day, French Road Elementary School students didn’t just learn about voting, they got to try it. Instead of choosing candidates, students cast their ballots for what Principal Ms. Coggins and Assistant Principal Ms. Wheeler should do at the next Bruin’s Den schoolwide assembly.
The choices? A bubble-blowing contest, a potato sack race, a pie in the face. After the votes were counted, the pie in the face won by a landslide!
Cheers erupted as two lucky students were randomly selected to smush the pies in their faces. At the assembly, laughter and excitement filled the room as the principals took their pies with pride and plenty of smiles.
