Twelve Corners Middle School and Brighton High School’s Kristen Hallagan was recognized as the New York State Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Middle School Teacher of the Year. She was recognized at the state’s TESOL Conference. Ms. Hallagan also presented about the work Brighton teachers did in publishing students’ stories in the Green Card Youth Voices project.
