Brighton Central School District held its annual Urban-Suburban Family Social in March at Council Rock Primary School. The District recognized the seniors in the program and presented awards to students. Members of the senior class also shared their experience in the program with families.
Receiving Urban-Suburban Standout awards for demonstrating the Brighton Believes character traits were: Ma'Kyia Artis, Mhalia Baldwin, Hope Bollar, Na'Laiyah Brockington, Kadyn Buckner, Anna Chestnut, Jer'Ceir Cotton, Delilah Delgado-Phillips, Natalie Gastel, Jayce Green, Nasir Kinsey, Saphira McCalla, Soyannie Nou, Charlotte Smith, J'acire Townsend, Cece Williams, Isabella Williams, LeRoy Williams, and Terralyn Winbush.
Receiving the Brighton High School Bruin Award for demonstrating exceptional perseverance throughout their time at Brighton High School was Tymere Boose.
The BHS Urban-Suburban Class of 2025 includes: Tymere Boose, Da'vonna Burroughs, Mohammed Ghassat, Efrain Gonzalez, Aaron Hagos, Aleigha Lenear, Kaleb Matthews, and
Carmello Miranda.
Representatives from the District and Urban-Suburban Program were on hand to connect with families and share in the celebration.
