Brighton Believes in Investing in Excellence: Graduation Rates
Dear Community Members,
The 2026–27 budget proposal continues Brighton’s Investment in Excellence, including our graduation rates.
We measure success not just by test scores or accolades — but by every single student crossing the stage on graduation day. Over the past 12 years, we've dramatically improved our graduation rates. In 2013, our overall rate was 89%. In 2025, it was 96% — and that improvement didn't happen by accident.
More importantly, we've committed to lifting every student. 100% of our Hispanic students graduated in 2025, up from 82%. Our Black or African American students have improved from 55% to 93%. Students with disabilities have risen from 65% to 88%. Economically disadvantaged students have climbed from 78% to 92%.
