Request or Sponsor Thanksgiving and December Holiday Baskets
The Brighton Central School District and Brighton Food Cupboard are working together to offer Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and Christmas Holiday baskets to families who would benefit from them.

The information you provide would only be used for the baskets. Thanksgiving baskets would be delivered on Sunday, Nov. 22 between noon and 2 p.m., Hanukkah baskets would be delivered Thursday, Dec. 3 between 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., and Christmas Holiday baskets would be delivered on Tuesday, Dec. 15 between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. The deadline to sign up to receive a basket is Wednesday Nov. 4.

If you choose to sponsor a basket, these are the nonperishable items that will be included in the holiday basket:
- $10 gift card to a local grocery store (Wegmans, Walmart, Tops, etc.) for chicken
- 1 can cranberry sauce
- 1 boxed dessert
- 3 cans of vegetables
- 2 boxes or cans of gravy
- 1 small box of cornbread mix
- 2 boxes of mac and cheese
- 1 canned fruit
- 1 12 oz. bag of raisins
- 1 box of mashed potatoes
- 2 boxes of stuffing
Baskets would need to be dropped off at the Brighton Food Cupboard. The address is 2131 Elmwood Ave., Door A, Rochester, NY 14618. There will be a cart outside Door A and a sign-off sheet. A staff member will be available for questions or comments. We will be checking the cart often to bring items into the building so there is no need to alert us when dropping off. Thanksgiving Basket Drop off: Nov. 9-12 from 9 a.m. to noon as well as Nov. 10 from 4 to 6 p.m.
December Holiday Basket Drop off: Dec. 7-10 from 9 a.m. to noon or on Dec. 9 from 4 to 6 p.m.
The deadline to sign up (to either receive or sponsor a basket) is Nov. 4.
